No Courtesy!!

I am going to rant and I am going to rant good!

The three of us went to a local bank this afternoon to close an account. The first person to serve the husband was great (although it did take them a good 20 mins as they couldn’t find some docs) but all that was put to waste when we were made to wait for a further 25 – 30 mins just for the cashiers to provide the cash. HORRIBLE I TELL YOU!!! All the customers who came after we had close the account had left and the bank was quick to fill with more and more people, when AH started to get restless.

I took him outside in his stroller and showed him the ice-cream billboard, showed him ATM machines, went outside the building to get kebab, showed him the pc fair that was going on and yet, the husband was not yet served- I, TOO, WAS GETTING RESTLESS!!! This was when I decided, enough was enough, I was going back to the bank to check out how things are going.

The bank’s door had 2 sides, which you have to open manually (not the automatic sliding door thing). As I was pushing AH in his stroller with one hand, I opened the right side of the door with my right hand by pulling towards me (the bank was full, so I couldn’t push) and to my horrow, TWO ***ing GIRLS sashay-ed in with MY OPENED SIDE, being lazy a$$es and couldn’t even bothered to open the other side of the door!!

Just as I was about to push the stroller, ANOTHER LADY STEPPED OVER AH in the stroller trying to get out of the bank!! STUPIDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD WOMANNNNNN! She could’ve opened the other side of the door and walked out nicely without having to langkahi my anak!! I only managed to sheesh-ed her and walked into the bank. Not only you’re a f***-ing stupid and lazy lady, you are also without any manners and courtesy!!! I seriously wished you had tripped when you were stepping over AH in the stroller and broke your nose or all you front teeth or something. I would like to see you sue us and I would gladly call you lazy and ill-mannered in court.

Both me and AH were in a bad mood!! I was so pissed I purposely ran over one of the lazy ladies’ kain with the stroller. Oh, I also let AH cried for attention in the bank because they were so slow!!! They sure did try to serve us as quickly as possible after that. If I knew earlier, I would made AH cry much earlier. Haha. But seriously, no wonder we decide not to bank with them.

If you have taken offense with my post, I don’t care. Just because my son is barely 2 and sitting in a stroller, it does not give ANYONE the right to step over him just because he/ she has any matter, life or death, to attend to! SHOW SOME COURTESY!!

Brunei is already a difficult place to take your babies/ kids in strollers around, don’t make it anymore difficult!! Argh, don’t even make me start with shops with narrow rows for us to push our strollers, especially shops selling kids’ stuff!! To top it off, a certain kids’ shop in Kiulap even had steps to go to the first floor, where they sell their BABIES’ clothes, toys, strollers and cots!!!! Oh, and the banks in town- they don’t even have ramps to push up your strollers!!

Again!

The World’s Local Bank disappoints me yet again…

This is the:

-THIRD TIME THIS MONTH

-FOURTH TIME IN THE PAST MONTH

-FIFTH TIME WITHIN THE LAST TWO MONTHS

Which bank, you say? Clue: I used to work at that bank.

So disappointed!

…and the caller had the nerve to say its my fault!

Saturday Lunch

June 7, 2008 at 6:10 pm | In non-baby related | 1 Comment

Had the usual Saturday Lunch at the usual place with the usuals. Haha.

You know you’ve been there too many times when you’re given the SAME table and when you arrive, the waitress just shows you to the table without you having to ask! I think, everyone was surprised how the waitress knew which party we were with.

I don’t know if I’ve mentioned this before but I always enjoy my Saturday lunches, especially when we manage to get everyone to come. Previously, we would try almost any restaurants in Brunei but of late, we usually stick with this particular restaurant. Even after payday, we always manage to get parking, good table (our usual table) and more importanly fast service for a restaurant of its kind!

Today’s lunch was another one of the lunches where wedding invitations were passed around, including verbal wedding invitations. To top it off, one of our boys is getting married too! Waseh! Another one bites the dust. Hehe. So, who’s next??? *soalan stress*. Haha.

Anyhoos, my point is when did we get so old? Haha. When did our lunches become the time for wedding invitations  to be passed around?? With our names lagituuu!

p.s. I did some ‘research’ return ticket to THAT CITY to catch THAT MOVIE is about BND185. Accomodation is free as we’re bunking at N’s apartment (tahukah si N nda ni ah? Haha. She said okay, right??). Movie ticket should be around BND20. Total money spent should be BND250 or less. 2 days/ 1 night ni. Now, sila tanya suami, isteri, boyfriend dan girlfriend for permission. Haha. I have to start manisi the husband ni :D
